He is a past president of the National Sheriff's Association and is past president of the Vermont Association of Investigative & Security Services. He holds degrees from the University of Southern California, FBI Academy, Babson College, Champlain College and the Vermont Police Academy along with numerous awards and commendations for his outstanding work in the Criminal Justice and investigative fields.
